Glock seems to be listening to what shooters have been asking for. Much like the direction they have taken with the new Glock Gen 6 platform, where they have incorporated ideas and improvements that have been popular in the aftermarket, Glock has now released an OEM 15-round magazine for the Glock 43X.

For years, many Glock 43X owners have turned to aftermarket solutions to increase magazine capacity. While these options have worked well, most require changing the factory magazine release to accommodate different magazine designs.

Glock has now released a factory solution.

The new Glock OEM 15-round magazine is designed to work with the original Glock magazine release, meaning there is no need to modify your pistol or replace factory components. The magazine is also compatible with the Glock 48, making it a great upgrade option for owners of both Glock slimline models.

One important thing to keep in mind: if you have already changed your magazine release to work with aftermarket magazines, you will need to replace it with the original Glock magazine release before the OEM 15-round magazines will function correctly.
